Hi, I'm sorry to contact you, but I've searched many times on internet
without find an answer,
I'm a little bit confused about the orinoco driver used in the kernel(2.6.19),
when I load it on dmesg I see:
orinoco 0.15 (David Gibson <***@gibson.dropbear.id.au>, Pavel Roskin <
***@gnu.org>, et al)
so the version included in the kernel is the 0.15,
on the website: http://www.nongnu.org/orinoco/news/ I see this:
Monitor mode support (except Agere firmware 7.xx and 8.xx).
I have this firmware: eth1: Firmware determined as Lucent/Agere 8.72
there is any possibilities to get monitor support?
how can I do? what can I risk?
I found also http://airsnort.shmoo.com/orinocoinfo.html that explain how to
downgrade orinoco firmware, can I use them(from Windows.. I know..)? which
do you suggest to me? 6.06 or 6.16?
thanks for the help, thanks very much,
