Hi!
I have a little problem with my Toshiba-Laptop (Satellite Pro 4600).
He has an integrated wlan-chip:
*Mini-PCI Slot:*
Wireless LAN / Wi-Fi® Standard: 802.11b*
ORiNOCO Mini PCI Card Specifications
(according to an email from the toshiba-support)

This card supports 64 and 128-bit wep-encryption:
*Standard IEEE 802.11b, Mini PCI V1.0
Security 64 WEP or 128 RC4*,
but on Linux, i just can choose between 40 or 104bit. I also tried to
use Windows-drivers with ndiswrapper but it didn't work, the only thing
which works is the orinoco_cs modul, but it just works if the encryption
of the WLAN is turned off, i have a 128-bit encrypted wlan around here.

Is there any solution to get the orinoco-drivers to support 128bit?

Thank you.

Sandman,
40 bit WEP is the same thing as 64 bit WEP. Some people just tend to
call it 40 bit because that is the encryption.. the last 24 bits are
an initialization vector.. so 40bit +24bit initialization vector =
64bit. The same applies to 128 bit WEP as it is 104 bit encryption +
24 bit initialization vector.
Hope this helps. pull a google search for a more in depth explanation
of why they are one and the same.
